On Thursday, May 8, SOAR Partners was pleased to host a well-attended and impactful webinar titled “Unlocking Oklahoma’s Opioid Abatement Grant: How Cities, Counties & Schools Can Access $25M+ inFunding.” The session equipped public leaders across Oklahoma with essential tools and strategies to access millions in opioid abatement funds available through the state’s grant program.

What We Covered:

The Oklahoma Opioid Abatement Grant makes over $25 million in funding available in 2025 for cities, counties, school districts, and other public entities working to address the opioid crisis in their communities.

We were honored to host an expert panel that offered a comprehensive overview of the grant process, including how to apply, what to include in your proposal, and how to ensure compliance after funds are awarded.

Our featured presenters included:

  • Terry Simonson, Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office – shared practical advice on eligibility and tips for submitting a strong application.
  • Family & Children’s Services – shared real-life examples of how public–nonprofit partnerships are transforming communities using these     funds.
